Hello!

What meds and what doses are you taking ??

You should have checks of SEATED / AT REST 10 MINUTES / BP checks both in your doctor's office and outside doctor's office ...

Keep journal of BP readings

It is the AVERAGE of many #s that matters ( 10 or more readings to be averaged )

Your BP medicine may be in need of adjustment ...increased dose of one might be needed

IF your AVERAGE is now controlled to 135/85 or better then you should be fine on current meds

If average is above 135/85 over 10 plus readings then you probably need some medicine adjustment ...

Reduce your salt / sodium intake

Other issues may need to be checked such as the blood flow to your kidneys ...renal artery stenosis may be an issue in need of intervention as a possibility ...

I hope that this information is helpful for you

Let me know if you have further questions or concerns

I will be happy to get back with you

If my answer has been helpful and to your satisfaction then please remember to leave positive feedback

Thank you and Best Regards,

Dr. Bray
