Question please don't be offended are you a drug testing expert?? I get drug tested all the time and they test for etg and it drives me nutty!!

No i am not drug testing expert. i can opt out if you want to have opinion from a specific doctor.

Best.

This is Dr. David

do you drink alcohol? alcohol would be the most common cause for positive ETG results.

plastic from coffee pots would not cause positive for ETG.

but there are many things with alcohol in it if you are exposed which can cause positive.

People can test positive for ETG alcohol consumption after being exposed to laundry detergent, antiperspirant, aftershave and even hair spray with alcohol in it.

Exposed to laundry detergent how does that work??

Method and Purex have alcohol in the detergent which is used to help get out stains in the wash which dissolve ink stains.

if you come into contact with the determent on your skin for some time, some of the alcohol can get into your system.
