Erythrocytosis is a relative or absolute increase in the number of circulating RBC

Hemochromatosis is an iron disorder in which the body simply loads too much iron

hemochromatosis can cause elevated red blood cell counts (erythrocytosis)

but not all erythrocytosis is caused by hemochromatosis.

so your iron levels have to be checked.
