hydrocodone and oxycodone are very simllar and can sometimes be mistaken with each other on urine tox screening tests.

a confirmatory MS/GC mass spectroscopy/gas chromatography test would be able to tell the difference.

any positive urine screening test has to be confirmed with a MS/GC confirmation test.
