Thank you for your question, in many cases this pain after mesh surgery lasts for several months and it is due to pressure on the nerves which are pressed by the nerves in that part of the skin. If there is no redness, swelling, or area feels warmer, then there is noting to worry pain will go away. Best way to help reduce the pain is to apply a local pain killer gel or cream and do exercises of abdomen like sitting up from lying position 40-50 times per day. This will help remodel the nerves in that area and pain will vanish within few weeks. Thank you.
