Hi, this is Dr Phil, here to assist you. I am Board Certified with over 10 years of experience. I will respond with my answer shortly. Thank you.
Generally it feels like a burning pain in the lower esophagus or throat.
is this what you have?
gallstones are usually right upper quadrant or right upper back pain with eating
probably fatty liver
don't you have that?
The other expert has opted out.
Gallstone surgery usually takes an hour or two.
I will note that while acid reflux will more often cause a burning pain in the chest, it can also cause sharp or dull pain in the center of the chest.
The chest pain is more likely to be either reflux or musculoskeletal chest pain, although it is possible that gallbladder disease could cause chest pain. The other symptoms, though, are much more common with gallbladder or liver disease.
The usual next test would be a liver and gallbladder ultrasound.
