One days symptoms isn't much to go on....

Do you have a history of GI problems such as IBS?

So far it sounds more likely to me that you may be early into a case of gastroenteritis...

That would be a viral infection of the GI tract

You may develop some diarrhea as possible in the next day or few days as possible

You may benefit to try some Pepto Bismol

I hope this information is helpful for you

I've had stomach issues in the past but have not been able to pinpoint the cause. I had a colonoscopy with no findings. This stomach aches is more severe than the past. It comes on quick. Very painful cramps then goes away. Usually happens every 30 min. I feel better laying down. When I stand up and walk it gets crampy again and I have to lay down

Hello again,

If this is an ongoing type problem with the uncomfortable cramping even off and on...

Then this COULD fit with IBS--- a very common cause of abnormal intestinal cramping ...

You may benefit to discuss with your doctor trial of an antispasm medicine such as Librax or LEVBID ..

Colonoscopy is typically normal in IBS

IBS tends to get worse with anxiety / stress

I hope this information is helpful for you

Best regards!
