Customer Question

my husband and I usually drink most evenings. however, in the past 24hours or so, he's been sleeping more than usual and when he's been up he just babbles. he's now been up an hour and it's gotten worse, like he's disconnected and babbling. has he possibly had stroke or aneurism of some kind or maybe a mental breakdown? should I take him to an urgent care or something more serious ? he's now gone back to bed

If he is "confused" and not acting like himself you should bring him to the Emergency Department right away-

It could be a stroke, a bleed on his brain, or an infection

While it may be related to his drinking, it could be more serious. Please do not wait as that could make things worse if there is a delay

Good luck and let me know how it goes

Good luck.

And let me know what they find- they will likely do blood work and a CT scan.
