Thanks for this question

I'm Dr. Phil, cardiology expert

Can I ask what your symptoms are?

Customer: replied 3 months ago.
Pain in the middle of my chest between my breasts. Just went to my Dr and she said it's costochondritis. Every now and then I get a tight feeling. My BP was 130 / 80 and that's usually around normal for me. Always between 120 and 130 and usually at 80

Does it hurt to push on the area?

Customer: replied 3 months ago.
Sometimes

A combination of history and physical can rule out heart issues

Yes,

I would have pushed on the chest to trigger pain to confirm though

Not just listen

What do you mean?
Expert:  Dr. Phil, MD replied 3 months ago.

I mean that a good doctor can rule out heart problems by taking a history and physical exam

I also mean that I wouldn't just listen to the heart though

part of my exam would be pushing on the chest to try and trigger the pain.

if it triggers, it is not cardiac

Customer: replied 3 months ago.
She did both. Felt little pain and told her that. I'm just scared she missed something just because I said it hurt a little. It's been since last night feeling this way.

Okay. Good

I agree with your doc then. Not cardiac
