Thank you for the quick reply.
The nose bleeding you are having since yesterday from right nostril can be due to a cold or viral infection that can cause a bloody nose. The nose is filled with numerous blood vessels, and many of these are thin and are on the surface of the inside of the nose. It takes very little damage to break one of these blood vessels which can lead to bleeding.Inhalation of chemicals that irritate the nasal mucosa can also lead onto nasal bleeding.
Nosebleeds can occur spontaneously when the nasal membranes dry out and crack.Nasal polyps, Infections like sinusitis that can cause congestion and lead to bleeding.
Also high blood pressure as a cause should be ruled out.
You need to do following:-Keep your head elevated and just relax until the bleeding stops.-Apply an ice pack across the bridge of the nose can restrict blood vessels and aid clotting.-You should sit down and gently squeeze the soft portion of the nose between thumb and finger (so that the nostrils are closed) for a full 10 minutes.-DO NOT pack the inside of the nose with gauze.
If still the bleeding persists or you had already tried these or if the severe bleeding lasts continously more than 15 minutes, then you need to go to Emergency Room(ER) for necessary treatment accordingly.
Hope this helped.
