Pain in the right side of throat. What could it be?

Customer Question

My throat is not sore, but there is a pain on the right side of the middle of my throat. When I push down, it is very painful. It’s a localized pain. I feel it when I move my head. My neck is very tight and hurts. I have a slight fever, 99.9 and it’s just been for 2 days.

Low grade fever with throat pain suggests underlying infection, and throat pain could be the part of that. It would be ideal for you to have Tab Ibuprofen 400 mg three times a day to reduce pain and fever, this will help you out.
If there is no obvious redness even than possibility of inflammation is there. So start Ibuprofen 400 mg three times a day.
