Well amnesia of course is abnormal loss of memory ...This could be a portion of a person's memory ...it could be very confined to a period of time ...a person gets knocked out _ ( concussion ) and may not recall events of that day for example ...
Amnesia could be broad and sweeping at times in scope but that could be due to drug effects at times or brain injury as examples ....

Temporary amnesia could be brought on by certain problems of injury / illness/ trauma / seizure / other which may be improved over time ....( This effect temporary )
