I'm Dr Chaithanya attending you

This can be due to ulnar nerve involvement

Common cause is carpel tunnel syndrome, where a nerve is trapped at the wrist region

You need to consult a neurologist to rule out the cause for it

Sometimes fluid repetition and continuous repetitive movements of the hand can cause similar symptoms

Hope this helps

how long does it last?
Expert:  Dr Chaithanya replied 3 months ago.

It depends on the severity of nerve entrapment. Doctor conducts nerve conduction tests to see what is the severity and based on that he decides on physiotherpay, splint or surgery. Wish you a speedy recovery.
