what could be the problem(s) with constipation? my bowel movements have changed lately. I had a colonoscopy in Jan, 16, and except for small polyp(benign) which they removed the results were fine. ( they told me to return in 5 t0 10 yrs) for another.I'm 72.I am scheduled to have my gall bladder removed soon. thanks in advance for any information.

There are many reasons for constipation.

Gallbladder dysfunction can cause it.

Lack of soluble fiber in the diet.

Lack of water intake.
