Hello,

Myself Dr Josh- A Board Certified Physician. and I’m happy to help with your question today.

Pancreatitis/pancreas disease is evaluated by by measuring levels of the two digestive enzymes, amylase and lipase,

in the blood. High levels of these two enzymes strongly suggest acute pancreatitis or pancreas disorder.

Normal range of amylase is 23-85 U/L and Normal range of lipase is 0-160 U/L.

Higher values & other symptoms & blood tests may indicate pancreas disorder.

Hope this helped.
