This is Dr. David

alcohol and wine can cause more stomach acid and acid reflux from your stomach and cause it to come up to your throat which can affect your taste.

you should talk to your doctor about acid reflux and see if that is causing your bitter taste

you may need to take stomach acid reducers to help

avoiding alcohol, spicy foods, tomato sauces, oily foods, fried foods could help as well.
