Customer Question

My son has been working around a dusty asbestos area in a building running cables, and the pipes are labelled "asbestos"-this was for 3 days in a row, he is very sick all of the sudden where he has sore throat, feeling awful, headache, a rash around the little white face mask. He does not have allergies and isn't suffferiint from flu or cold. The people he works for have already had ocea (SP?) called on them for not providing protective gear and training. Do theses symptoms sound like asbestos related?

Not an asbestos reaction, which occurs over a long period of time.

More likely

viral illness

strep throat
