This is Dr. David

sorry about your diagnosis of chronic pancreatitis.

you need to avoid alcohol, fatty foods, oily foods, fried foods,

you need to eat lean chicken breast and salads and fish and cooked vegetables

blood tests should have checked for elevation of amylase and lipase levels which are signs of pancreatitis.

do you drink alcohol ? this can cause pancreatitis as well.

your doctor can also send you to talk to a nutritionist who works at the hospital who can also help you with meal planning and diet suggestions for your pancreatitis.

let me know if you have other questions.
