This is Dr. David

black diarrhea is very serious

it means you are bleeding from your stomach or esophagus and you are loosing blood in your stool

over time, this can cause anemia and low red blood cell counts

you could even pass out from having too low of red blood cells

you need to go to the ER at the hospital right away to see a doctor to get blood tests

and to get your stools tested

and you need to see a GI doctor to do an upper endoscopy to look down into your stomach to see where you are bleeding from

do you have a hospital or ER close to you where you can see a doctor right away.

changing your diet will not stop the bleeding from your upper GI system.
