I have a lump inside my right ear on the cartilage been there about a week--not painful but my lymph nodes are swollen some---what might be the problem I actually feel good--I am a 64 year old man

that lump could be due to to a blocked skin pore or a subaceous cyst

there could be an ingrown hair causing an infection in that lump on the ear

that can cause local lymph nodes to swell up.

in rare cases, skin cancers can cause enlarged masses and bleeding from squamous or basal cell carcinomas of the skin on the ear if you have had a lot of sun exposure before.

benign causes such as sebaceous cyst or ingrown hair follicle would be more likely.
