Hello

you have to find out why you have this

Possibilities

irritable bowel

small bowel overgrowth

Colon problems

Liver, gallbladder or stomach and pancreas problems.

You have not mentioned any exam or diagnosis.

Exam is first, then testing.

If you have not had a clean colonoscopy in the last 10 years, this should be arranged.

OK, so you might have more questions or want to give me more information: Please use reply to expert if you have further questions. When you are ready, please click a positive rating [hopefully excellent—that’s how we are paid, per rating]. If you forgot something, come back. Hi there,
This is Dr Basu, experienced Internal Medicine Specialist.
I am here to address your concerns and provide great service.

Viral infection and food intolerance are the most common causes of bloating.

Excessive gas formation causes this from undigested food particles.

You should consider following low fermentable sugar diet ( FODMAP diet) to reduce your symptoms.
Please go to this link for detailed information:

Please also include prebiotics like Inulin daily to keep your colon acidic which prevent gas producing bacteria.
Also take a probiotic ( lactobacilli, bifidobacterium) daily to restore intestinal microbial balance.
Culturelle 30 Counts twice daily should be fine.
Simethicone and activated charcoal can be taken before meals to reduce gas and bloating.
Best wishes,
It was my pleasure to help you today.

Hello

We can not examine you, so we can not diagnose you, and we can not treat you.

The possibilities I mentioned are very real in many cases, and you need to see your doctor.

Do not try to self treat first.

Do that only in conjunction with your doctors advice.

I am a double board certified US doctor.

Find me as needed for correct answers.

Dr. Thomas only.

Hi there,
This is Dr Basu, experienced Internal Medicine Specialist.
I am here to address your concerns and provide great service.

You should get tested for celiac disease.

Low FODMAP diet as I mentioned above should help.

Besides simethicone ( GasX) and activated charcoal, boiled anise seed and peppermint tea also may help with bloating.

Digestive enzyme supplement ( Puritan) also will help.
Best wishes,
It was my pleasure to help you today.
