Linzess doesn't work as subscribed sometimes after taking it after meals is there something specific I need to eat to help it work?
Expert:  Dr. SH replied 8 months ago.

Reglan should work if you take it as prescribed i.e. 20 minutes prior to meals.

I was referring to linzess

I think that along with these medications you should take something to lower your acid in your stomach like omeprazole 20 mg twice daily which will likely help with it working better.

Expert:  Dr. SH replied 8 months ago.

Are you on any acid reducing medication already like omeprazole? or not?

Customer: replied 8 months ago.
I was but it didn't seem to work. I just ended 30 days of lansoprazole but saw no improvement with the back up and pressure in my chest
Expert:  Dr. SH replied 8 months ago.

I think that you should be on a higher dose of omeprazole i.e. 40 mg twice daily to see if that would help with your symptoms instead of lansoprazole.

This is available over the counter without a prescription.
