I get sick very frequently at least once a month with sinus

Customer Question

I get sick very frequently at least once a month with sinus infections or whatever is going around. I have no energy . And never really feel good . I had a Sagital scan of my sinus by a very good ent in Pittsburgh, Pa . The ent Dr said there is nothing wrong with my sinus that it is my immune system.! Should I be seen by an immunologist . And if so how will they find out what is wrong with my immune system. I am very very tired of feeling sick and tired.

Hi there,
This is Dr Basu, experienced Internal Medicine Specialist.
I am here to address your concerns and provide great service.

Yes you will need to see an immunologist or a hematologist to check the blood count, immunoglobulin levels.

Immunoglobulin A, G, M are the major ones which fight the infections.

One of their deficiencies can be a problem.

Also plasma cell disorder, bone marrow failure or neoplasm are other possibilities that should be looked at.
Best wishes,
It was my pleasure to help you today.
