Welcome to the chat dialog.

I am a Family Medicine doctor, board certified with active licenses and certification in Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynecology, as well as Integrative Medicine & Naturopathy, with advanced training in Neurology, Cardiovascular Medicine, Gastroenterology, Endocrinology, and Psychiatry. I am also well-trained in Functional Medicine. Perhaps most importantly, I consider myself a patient listener.

I have read your post and observations.

Would you prefer a summary answer to your question, or would you prefer more back-and-forth, where there will be a series of more questions and more details clarified?

Either way, I’ll do my best to take the appropriate time to help you.

Can you help me put some context to your post? what are you experiencing? Why did you see Rheumatology?

Customer: replied 6 months ago.
Positive Ana but all test came back with nothing abnormal at rheumatology - wbc actually was not elevated since September only a few months and the inflammation elevated was lower then September - but for 1 year three months ago I had some swelling and flushing on left wrist and a vein come to surface - the vein has never gone back down xray shows nothing wrong with wrists BC 2 months later 2nd wrist started flushing and then face and no doctor or specialist can tell me why - pulse rate has always been high blood pressure perfect until recently - diagnosis with bipolar 10 years ago - nervous breakdown 4.5 yrs ago never been right since then same physic office 3.5 years just meds after meds never got well - still new physic doctor changed me again and I'm worse emotionally and physically - I'm sorry I'm very flustered

Hi there, I'm sorry you're feeling flustered. Understandably so. It's very common for doctors to move through patients very quickly, and not take the necessary time to explain or listen or console. It's not easy to hear "I'm not sure" from doctors, and very few doctors explain the process of trying to figure out what the right diagnosis is. This can all provoke lots of anxiety and fear. This, unfortunately, is quite common. And can be very upsetting to anyone!

Thank you for providing the updated information.

Have you been given any medications for these veins?

What other blood tests or lab values have you received, can you copy them for me?
