You likely sprained your knee ligaments from the skydiving.
Since you do not have any buckling of the knee any torn tendon or ligament unlikely.
Also less intensity of pain speaks against meniscal tear.
You should avoid excessive weight bearing for now.
You can apply ice liberally.
Naproxen can be taken for pain control 500 mg twice daily for next 10 days.
You can also wear a knee sleeve during walking for better support.
May take about 2-3 weeks to subside.
