Hi there,
This is Dr Basu, experienced Internal Medicine Specialist.
I am here to address your concerns and provide great service.

With so much treatment, fungus should be gone.

The pain can be due to the inflammation of the mucosa from the infection.

This can be treated with a steroid paste like Kenalog in orabase gel.

Sometimes, nerve irritation can cause persistent pain even with topical treatment.

That can be controlled by oral medications like Gabapentin 300 mg 3 times daily.
Best wishes,
It was my pleasure to help you today.
