This is Dr. David

Brodie Abscesses are a type of Subacute Osteomyelitis infection of the bone.

this this bone infection keeps coming back, you might need antibiotic beads to be placed at the site of surgery and longer IV home antibiotic therapy.

it doesn't sound like your orthopedic surgeons have used antibiotic beads at the surgery site yet

you might need a longer course of IV antibiotics as well this time.

what has your orthopedic surgeons suggested?
