Customer Question

I have had night sweats that are getting increasingly worse. I am having to get up several times per night, shower & change bedding.
Could this just be stress or anxiety?
Expert:  khagihara replied 1 year ago.

How old are you? Are you male or female? How tall are you? How much do you weigh? Any weight change? Does anything make it better or worse? When did they start? Are they consistent? Are they getting worse? Any other symptoms such as swollen lymph nodes, fever, cough? Were you in contact with sick people? Does anyone around you have similar problem? Are you aware of anything which might have triggered it? Any medical problems? Any surgeries? Any medications including over-the counter pills and herbs? Any family medical history?

random and not sure rleavent, I also developed an itchy patch just under my right shoulder blade nothing helps it and there is no visible sign it is there, I am thinking it is all just stress/anxiety

Do yo have regular periods?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I had a tubal ligation almost 2 years ago, fairly regular
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
i do get severe pain in my right side around that time and a couple days after
Expert:  khagihara replied 1 year ago.

The ear, head, neck problem could be due to ear infection. Night sweats makes me concerned. It could be due to lymphoma, leukemia, TB, and so forth. The nausea, stomach pain could be due to lymphoma. People with lymphoma, leukemia get infection easily. You should see your primary care doctor to have exam and a blood test.

i had blood work done over a year ago, could things change that quickly? could it just be stress/anxiety?
Expert:  khagihara replied 1 year ago.

Yes because you have some symptoms now. Less likely they are due to stress/anxiety.

if there a cold or flu going around that has these symtons that are just lingering? I do not have the best insurance right now and have been putting off doctors visits until we change carriers
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
i apologize, i hope i am not wasting your time, i guess i was more looking for someone to tell me it was all in my head or stress/anxiety related. I have been on celexa in the past for anxiety but an not fond of feeling like a zombie
Expert:  khagihara replied 1 year ago.

Do you have anxiety/stress recently?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I have a very demanding high stress job, my not feeling well and exhaustion are stressing me out
Expert:  khagihara replied 1 year ago.

Have you had similar symptoms before? If so, was your symptoms gone after taking celexa?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
No I have not had all of this at once. Celexa made me feel comatose.
Expert:  khagihara replied 1 year ago.

Anxiety/stress doesn't cause ear redness and an itchy patch just under my right shoulder blade but could cause the other symptoms. I recommend you see your doctor soon after you change your insurance.
