Hello Vic

Most doctors don't recommend testosterone for your age group anymore

It can cause heart disease

I would try to wean off as soon as you can

This is Dr. David

there has been new research on this

this study treated men 65 years old for 1 year with testosterone therapy.

there moderate benefit with respect to sexual function and some benefit with respect to mood and depressive symptoms

Seven men in each study group were adjudicated to have had major cardiovascular events (myocardial infarction, stroke, or death from cardiovascular causes) during the treatment period and two men in the testosterone group and nine men in the placebo group were adjudicated to have had major cardiovascular events during the subsequent year

so this study didn't show that testosterone increased risks for heart disease.

let me know if you have questions.
