My husband is experiencing a sharp pain in the extreme lower right area of his stomach. No nausea, no fever, no chills apparent. What could this be if not appendix?

This could be the inflammation ( Gastritis ) of stomach .

He should get antacid syrup 2 teaspoonful three times a day for 5 days along with

Cap Omeprazole 20 mg once at bed time for 4 weeks to heal inflammation .

He should avoid spicy food , fatty meals .
