My husband started bleeding from s ear and testicles

Customer Question

my husband started bleeding from his ear and testicles

This is Dr. David

does he take aspirin or coumadin? these are blood thinners and can cause him more likely to bleed

if he is bleeding unusually, he needs to go see a doctor right away at the ER or VA hospital.

he shouldn't be bleeding like that.

This is Dr. David

you don't have to start a new question.

if he is not taking blood thinners, then he needs to go to the ER and get blood testing for coagulation, complete blood count and platelet levels to find out why he started to bleed.

has the bleeding stopped?

how worried should he be? serious?

I would like to hear from Dr Thomas double board certified if thats ok sir
Expert:  Dr. David replied 1 year ago.

that other expert is not online now

that is good the bleeding has stopped.

only additional testing will tell if it was serious or not.

sometimes hemorrhoids can bleed from the rectum and make it look like it was from the testicle area.

can he get in to see a VA doctor?
