Customer Question

Hi i am awaiting a flight and only have 15 minutes. I had trouble walking because of pain in my soul. It got better. Yesterday i noticed a painful lump on my calf. The size of a small egg. I am boarding a plane to visit my daughter in another province. Do you think i should see a doctor there. Or can it wait for 10 days until i return home. I am 59 years olf.

Hi there,
This is Dr Basu, experienced Internal Medicine Specialist.
I am here to address your concerns and provide great service.

There is a risk of blood clot in the calf region since you are flying long distance.

You should go to the local ER after reaching your daughter's place to rule out blood clot.

Best wishes,
It was my pleasure to help you today.
