Customer Question

I have been taking 2 2mg tablets of Clonazepam a day, but this month I have 1 2mg tablet of Clonazepam and 1 1mg tablet of Ativan. I have suffered from panic attacks for a period of years and go to a Therapist and Psychiatrist. I need to know if I can take this amount for this month until my next refill. My mother had to go to a hospital, and I am extremely fearful of this happening to me.

This is Dr. David

yes, you can take one clonazepam and one ativan per day to decrease anxiety symptoms

you should talk to your psychiatrist about medications like sertraline or paroxetine to help decrease anxiety symptoms.

I am sorry about your mother.

I hope she gets better
