Customer Question

Have had lower back pain on and off for two weeks. Lately the back pain has started when needing to poop. Used mag citrate to clean out my system yesterday cause I was in so much pain. This morning I was fine until I ate something. My abdomen has also felt distended and painful

Hello

I am not sure what your question is.

This can be a worsening disc problem in the back.

If so, you need an exam now.

Pain in the back from straining would be typical.

The distended abdomen can be from constipation and mag citrate does not necessarily fix the whole problem.

I would suggest that the back is the main issue.

But, if you have not had a colonoscopy yet, this is due at age 50.

A distended abdomen that is painful can be from constipation, but also from partial obstruction. You might only clear part of this out, and still have a problem.

It can be from other bowel diseases as well.

I would have an exam today if possible.

OK, so that is an initial answer….
