Thanks for your question.
Since when is this happening? What is the quantity of blood? How many bowel movements is she having? Any other symptoms such as fever, nausea, abdominal pain, or vomiting? What investigations were done and what treatment given?
There are many causes for blood in stools such as infection, inflammation, obstruction, or growth in the bowel as well as hemorrhoids or an anal fissure. This needs to be examined by her doctor and the relevant investigations need to be done to find out the exact cause. Based on the cause such as if it is due to a bacterial infection then treating it with antibiotics will be beneficial. If the quantity of blood is more then you need to immediately take her to the emergency for management.
Does she suffer from any medical condition or take any daily medication?
