I have been experiencing months now the wrinkled sock

Customer Question

Hi Doc ,
I have been experiencing for several months now the wrinkled sock feeling at the ball of my left foot. I saw a podiatrist who recommended WalkFit insoles. They have helped some but the feeling has not gone away completely. I am not diabetic and in very good health for 63 years old. The feeling started shortly after I started running and running in my neighborhood means up and down hills. The podiatrist said it was caused by my shoes being too flexible in the toe area. He recommended wearing HOKA shoes. I have bought a pair but the feeling is more noticeable in them than in my New Balance. What recommendations do you have and treatments I can try. Thanks
Gary Wolfe

Expert:  Dr. Phil, MD replied 1 year ago.

I know. B12 doesn't cause pain. It causes abnormal nerve sensations
