How many neutrophils in the white blood cells? Any %? Any recent infection? How tall are you? How much do you weigh? Any symptoms? Any medical problem? Any surgeries? Any medications? Any family medical history?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
5.4 inches tall, 145 pounds, no other symptoms, I do have dental concern (root canal done within the last year), I had a baby 3 years ago and bladder was punctured. I took topamax briefly but 2 months prior to testing I ended it and only took for about a week for trigeminal neuralgia I am a vegetarian was told I have a fibroid and low iron but not anemic. My iron levels did drop within the year from 130 to 90 but still in normal range. No current medical problems and am rarely sick outside of gas and bloating.

If the absolute neutrophil count (ANC) is less than 1500 cells/microL, it is abnormal. Do you have the result of white blood cell differential? Usually they measure it with white blood cell account.

I will have to look at it and get back to you once I return home

Only white blood cell number is ***** with normal red blood cell number & platelet number. It could be due to post-viral infection, drug-induced neutropenia, benign chronic neutropenia, pure white cell aplasia (rare), autoimmune neutropenia, or vitamin deficiency. You should have a blood test again one month after the last blood test. If the white blood cell count is still low, you should see a hematologist for further tests.
