My 17 year old son woke up this morning with a swollen up

Customer Question

My 17 year old son woke up this morning with a swollen up lip. He said it doesn't hurt nor does he have a fever. I have been giving him benadryl and putting ice on it. that was about 10 hours ago. The swelling hasn't receded yet. Is there something else i should do? Thank you

Hi This sounds like a typical allergic reaction and you may never know what caused it

I'd switch to either Zyrtec or Claritin and this should resolve itself in another day or so

If he starts to wheeze or have difficulty swallowing then he needs to see a doctor right away
