I have been having symptoms that worry me in the past 2-3

Customer Question

I have been having symptoms that worry me in the past 2-3 months I'd say.
My stomach has really ballooned out and felt heavy. No chance of pregnancy but I'm very bloated and gassy and feel full from eating very quickly. I have a Hiatial hernia but I'm not sure if it would be causing these issues.
I'm only 30 years old and am moderately overweight.

This is Dr. David

bloated and gassy can be a symptom of bowel inflammation or allergy

allergy to milk lactose or allergy to gluten wheat protein in pasta and bread and pizza crust can cause bowel inflammation and bloating.

you can try avoiding dairy for a week and see if this helps your symptoms

you can try avoiding gluten, pasta, bread for a week and see if your symptoms get better

if your symptoms don't get better, you should see a doctor and get more testing.

I'm specifically worried about ovarian cancer. The bloating is substantial and constant and it's come on quickly over the course of a month or so. Exercise doesn't seem to shrink it and I even drank raw juice for a day in hopes it would go down with no such luck. Could this be a possibility

I doubt you have ovarian cancer.

raw juices can cause more bloating

fruits and vegetables contain lots of fiber which can cause bloating.

don't let your worries about cancer get out of control

bowel allergies or IBS irritable bowel syndrome would be much much much more likely than ovarian cancer.

ovarian cancer would cause you to loose weight as well.
