Well oral PREDNISONE is the most common one used and IF you are pregnant that does alter the calculus on this problem..
Prednisone is CAT C in pregnancy ( not the worst but as with other cat Cs it is that it is advised to limit use and use ONLY when other alternatives are not feasible and benefits outweigh the risks..)
So it is a key question...
I agree that needs to be answered and your condition viewed in light of the results>> positive or negative
Some conditions might indeed REQUIRE an oral steroid but it is not taken so lightly...
