I am here to address your concerns and provide great service.
The valves in the superficial leg veins are likely damaged also called varicose veins or venous insufficiency.
This results in ankle swelling on standing or keeping legs down for long time.
Other causes can be kidney disease, heart failure, or blood clot in the leg veins.
Usually other symptoms also should be present.
You should reduce water intake to prevent swelling.
Also wearing graduated compression stockings exerting 30-40 mm Hg during walking or sitting will help to prevent the swelling.
Please follow a low sodium diet also as salt retains water.
A low dose diuretic like lasix also may help.
Natural supplement Horse chestnut extract 300 mg twice daily also supposed to help with incompetent leg veins.
It was my pleasure to help you today.
