Hi there,

This is Dr Basu, experienced Internal Medicine Specialist.

I am here to address your concerns and provide great service.

These symptoms can be caused by the bacterial infection or cellulitis of the legs.

That will need oral antibiotic treatment.

Blood clot in the leg veins also can cause these symptoms.

Left sided symptoms can be due to the infection most likely.

You should go to the urgent care for further evaluation.

Best wishes,

It was my pleasure to help you today.

Hello

I have a different answer for you

Joint pain on one side would not be likely due to a cellulitis of the leg[s].

Cellulitis is not typically of both legs, and you do not indicate any history [diabetes, trauma to the skin] that would account for cellulitis.

This sounds more like an inflammatory arthritis, mainly on the left side, with inflammation of the legs, possible due to autoimmune disease.

Or, you have two separate problems and cellulitis could be a result of immune disruption due to autoimmune disease.

If you don't have actual arthritis, a flu like virus can account for all of these symtoms.

I doubt that urgent care has enough to due full testing for you, and i fyou are really sick they will send you to the ER.

If you have coverage for an ER visit, fine, but what I would suggest is that you read by post to your doctors office and go in right now, as feasible.

Please click a positive rating.

Please let me know if you have further questions.

Always find Dr. Thomas in medical by request, to save time with fast, comprehensive, accurate and safe answers.

OK, so that is an initial answer….

Please use reply to expert if you have further questions. When you are ready, please click a positive rating [hopefully excellent]. If you forgot something, come back. I am here daily
