Customer Question

I have been coughing for five months now and he cannot stop. He has been to a heart doctor and a pulmonologist with no results - just more pills and nothing. I take Carvedilol, Furosemide and Digoxin. I stopped Carvedilol since it made me super tired, dizzy, light headed and I threw up half my meals.

I am not sure what your medical question is.

If you have heart failure or chronic lung disease, both can give a chronic cough.

Often over looked is acid reflux. It can give a cough as an only symptoms.

Post nasal drip that is chronic can do it as well

Rarely, it is a neurological problem....not likely.

Talk to your doctor about all of this list, to see what has not been diagnosed.

OK, so that is an initial answer….
