Thank you for your question.

Can you please let me know what your age and gender is?

Does this cause you any symptoms?

Do you have any other medical problems?

Are you on any medications for anything at the moment?

Please let me know.

Kind regards

I'm a 47 year old female. The only reason that I noticed it is because I had some pain the other day which has resolved, but I have a mildly darker patch on my skin right above the lump. It's almost unnoticeable. I have no other medical problems aside from Ehlers Danlos III and mitral valve prolapse, and have had an enormous amount of dental work done over the past three years. I take Wellbutrin XL to manage dysthymia. Thanks again.

This does not sound like anything serious at all as far as I am concerned.

If it is visible and if you could take a picture of it and send it to me on here that would be nice.

But, to be honest with you, it does not sound likely to be anything serious or anything to worry about.
