Thank you for your question.

Can you please elaborate your question a little more.

What are your symptoms i.e. are you having any ear discharge?

Any blood or pus coming out of your ear?

Have you been seen for this by an ENT doctor?

Please let me know.

Kind regards

Thank you for the information.

You are most likely having what is called as chronic supporative otitis media which is an infection of the middle ear.

If you still have pus draining from your ear and it is not responding to antibiotics then next best thing to do is to get a culture of the pus done to find out exactly which antibiotic would help in killing the bugs that are causing your infection.

Once your condition is cured your hearing will definitely improve.

Meanwhile you should continue using the antibiotic drops and tablets that have been prescribed to you.

At times this kind of an infection takes longer than usual to settle completely.

I understand that you have issues with your insurance but it is best to follow up closely with an ENT doctor on this.
