This is Dr. David

nose bleeds can be from dried nasal mucous, low patelet levels, taking aspirin, dry air from air conditioning. he should get blood test to check on his platelets and coagulation levels

chest pain can be from acid reflux, anxiety, infection of the ribs, and other causes. heart related chest pain would be rare at age 39.

but he should see a doctor to get tests to find out why he is having these symptoms.

is he willing to see a doctor?

many men at his age don't see a doctor regularly.
