I am sorry to hear about your current symptoms.
So you are getting bump first on your scalp, that pops and then becomes sore and causes lot of pain.
This is due to the chronic inflammation of the scalp gland --also known as hidradenitis suppurativa.
The location is uncommon but possible.
This is a challenging condition to treat.
The best option will be to try a strong steroid like Kenalog ( triamcinolone) injection into the area once every 2 weeks for 3 injections.
That takes care of the problem most effectively.
Another option will be to opt for surgical excision of the complete layer of skin at the affected site and then do a skin graft after 3 weeks of healing.
This is more invasive hence not favored initially.
Please discuss with a reputed dermatologist as well.
It was my pleasure to help you today.
