This is Dr. David
you need to see a doctor about your bleeding mucous and pain
you could have colitis or a bowel allergy or bowel infection causing your symptoms.
you might need a colonoscopy to look for inflammation in your colon lining.
I see your doctor is sending you for a colonoscopy camera procedure to look inside of your colon.
when is your colonoscopy?
have you tried to avoid dairy or gluten wheat protein in your diet to see if that helps?
Andrews liver salts most likely won't help too much.
you should keep a food diary to see what worsens your symptoms
you should try to go a week at a time avoiding milk and lactose products
and also gluten and wheat gluten protein products
and see if that helps your symptoms.
you should try stronger stomach acid blockers like zantac or prilosec daily which are over the counter to see if they help decrease your stomach grumbling symptoms
let me know if you have other questions.
