This is Dr Basu, experienced Internal Medicine Specialist.
I am here to address your concerns and provide great service.
Your left atrium or heart chamber is mildly enlarged.
There is also enlargement of the left ventricle muscles.
The heart is not resting well causing less filling.
Aortic valve is mildly thickened --not concerning seen with aging.
Trace mitral and tricuspid valve regurgitations are not significant either.
So mainly you have heart filling phase problem which may cause mild heart failure related symptoms like shortness of breath with exertion.
Medical management is the mainstay of the treatment.
Control your blood pressure around 130/80
Control your LDL cholesterol around 70 mg/dl
Heart healthy high fiber low sodium and low fat diet
Betablockers like metoprolol, ACE inhibitors like lisinopril are recommended to normalize heart function over time.
In summary not that concernig but should be addressed as above.
It was my pleasure to help you today.
