Hello, My name is ***** ***** old, I leave in Romania, SE Europe.
I have CLL from 2011 , no treatment until now . My doctor just told me that the lymfocites no. had increased very much during 1 year , now is 86%LYMPH; wbc:135.66(10'3/ul). He recommend me treatment with clorambucil .
My question is if this is the best option for CLL in first stage. Is US there are other better options?

This is Dr. Davidnormal WBC are between 4.5 – 11.0 K/uL.your levels are still pretty normalyou may not need any treatmentCLL can cause enlarged lymph nodes in your body.just increased percentage of lymphocytes doesn't mean you need treatment of CLLI would see a hematologist onoclogist doctor in Romania.if your hemoglobin levels and platelet levels are normal and you don't have enlarged lymph nodes in your body, you really don't need treatment
